What OTDGo is

OTDGo is a crowdsourced database of real out-the-door car prices submitted by buyers across the United States. Our goal is to give car buyers transparent, unspun pricing data so they can negotiate with confidence.

What we collect

When you submit a quote, we collect:

• Vehicle information (year, make, model, trim, powertrain, drivetrain)
• Pricing details (MSRP, out-the-door price, and optional fee breakdown)
• Location (state and zip code of the dealership)
• Dealership name (optional)
• Purchase type (cash, finance, or lease) and deal date (optional)

We do not collect your name. If you contact us via email, we receive your email address and the content of your message — we use this only to respond to you.

We may add optional account features in the future. If we do, we will update this policy before collecting any additional personal information.

How we use your data

• To display submitted quotes publicly on OTDGo so other buyers can compare prices.
• To compute aggregate pricing statistics (averages, ranges, trends) across the dataset.
• To improve the site and understand how people use it.

Submitted quotes — including vehicle details, price, and location — are displayed publicly. Do not include personally identifying information in any field.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data to third parties or data brokers. We may share aggregated, anonymized pricing trends (e.g., average OTD price for a given model in a given state) with partners or publish them publicly — this data cannot be traced back to any individual submission.

We use Supabase to store data and Vercel to host the site. Both are subject to their own privacy policies.

Data retention

Submitted quotes are stored indefinitely to maintain the integrity of the dataset. If you submitted a quote and want it removed, email us at hi@otdgo.com with the details and we will delete it promptly.

Jurisdiction

OTDGo is operated in the United States and is intended for US users. By using this site, you agree that any disputes are governed by US law.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of OTDGo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
